Liverpool fans on Twitter have been criticising Mohamed Salah’s performance in the Reds’ victory over West Ham United.
This comes after the winger played in the Reds’ 3-2 win over David Moyes’ struggling side to increase their lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table to 22 points.
Would you be open to selling Salah in the summer?
Yes
No
Despite the win, Salah’s performance in the match gathered a lot of attention from Liverpool fans for all the wrong reasons.
Salah’s display led to a lot of tweets from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their criticisms of the Egyptian.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans slamming Salah:
Tough game. Time for Klopp to make the changes looks like half the lads need a rest. Salah, let’s be honest was poor.
Anyway, a wins a win. Just feels like we are riding our luck#lfc

Salah must have like a 15% pass completion most days. Absolute waste of space

Salah been very poor tonight… by his standards

The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes of the match at Anfield, earning himself a match rating of 8.47, the highest of any player on the pitch for either side (per WhoScored).
But despite grabbing himself a goal and a high match rating, this did not result in Salah escaping the barrage of criticisms from many Liverpool fans on Twitter after the match had ended.
Salah’s link up play and hold up play is awful just awful. He also looks like he has lost pace. Good movement for his goal today but for me he’s declining and I’d say it would be wise to cash in while we can

Other than the goal Salah has been awful…?????

Salah’s passing has been poor again

What do we think?
While Salah’s goal got Liverpool back on level terms against West Ham, this did not change any Liverpool fans’ minds on what they saw as a poor display from the Egyptian. But the most important thing for the Reds is that they secured another three points in their title-chasing campaign.
