Liverpool fans have been reacting on Twitter to recent comments made by a former Red, Mario Balotelli.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying quotes made by the striker originally to Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness.
On his time at Anfield, the Italian revealed that he “didn’t click with the manager” and that he “lived through some very difficult days” in a Liverpool shirt.
Is Mario Balotelli Liverpool's worst ever signing?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their opinions on their former man.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans discussing Balotelli:

The worst player to ever wear the shirt. Lazy, unethical. His attitude has been an issue on his entire carrer.

The former Manchester City Premier League champion signed to the Merseyside club back in 2014 from AC Milan for a fee of £18 million during Brendan Rodgers’ reign. After making 28 appearances for the Reds scoring just four goals, the striker was shipped out back to Milan on loan before leaving Merseyside on a free transfer to OGC Nice in 2016 (per Transfermarkt).
Now that Balotelli has revealed his dark times at Liverpool, this has paved the way for many Reds fans to return the favour and share their own negative thoughts on the striker.

That’s a very long-winded way of saying “The problem was I’m an entitled muppet”

What do we think?
Clearly Balotelli wasn’t happy with his time at Liverpool and based on these replies, the fans weren’t either. His signing to the club can just go down in history as one that just didn’t work out.
