Liverpool fans have been discussing Nathaniel Clyne on Twitter recently.
This comes after a Liverpool fan Twitter account, Anfield Edition, shared a post on their page that included a photo of the defender, with the caption simply being ‘discuss’.
Will Nathaniel Clyne make an appearance for Liverpool this season?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a wave of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their thoughts on Clyne’s return.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the post:

The Englishman, who is valued at £9 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been out of action since July with a cruciate ligament injury that has kept the 28-year-old sidelined for 220 days, resulting in Clyne missing 45 matches for the Reds (per Transfermarkt).
He was shocking in pre season

What do we think?
It seems quite harsh and a real shame that these Liverpool fans don’t see a future for Clyne at Anfield. Whether the club shares the same view as these fans is unknown, but the hope for Clyne now would be to avoid any more long-term injuries at whichever club he continues his career at.
