Timo Werner is waiting on Liverpool and they have until April to complete a £51m move for the German international, according to Simon Hughes and Raphael Honigstein of The Athletic. The report claims that the 23-year-old has already received proposals from Barcelona and Manchester United but is waiting to see whether or not Jurgen Klopp makes a move.
The RB Leipzig striker has recently been quoted as saying he believes his compatriot is the best coach in the world on Sky Germany (via the Daily Mail), therefore, we can understand why the player may prefer a move to Anfield above anywhere else.
Should Liverpool activate Timo Werner's release clause?

If we don’t get this deal done we will kick ourselves – we can’t go another window without additional a, particularly worn salah/mane/Keita missing next winter with AFCON.

It’s a no brainer though. Cover for Olympics, African Cup of Nations, Suspensions, Rest. 60/30mins rotation if not on it. Minimino also cover with Origi super sub.

What do we think?
Werner is valued at £67.5m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, so if he is available for as little as £51m, we can understand why a host of clubs are said to be interested in securing his services this summer. He’s scored 21 goals in 23 Bundesliga appearances so far this season and whether a regular starter or not, he’d be an excellent addition to any side on that basis.
