Liverpool fans have been discussing the absence of Jordan Henderson after the Reds’ 3-2 win over West Ham United on Monday.
This comes after Liverpool fan account @ScouserChrisLFC shared a post on their Twitter page admitting that the team are missing Henderson.
Did Liverpool miss Jordan Henderson against West Ham?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share the same sentiments on the midfielder.

Henderson missed the midweek match against David Moyes’ side after picking up a hamstring injury in last week’s defeat at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. According to WhoScored, Henderson has been Liverpool’s eighth-best player so far this season with an average match rating of 7.2. After Liverpool played their first game since Henderson suffered his injury, many Reds fans have been discussing on Twitter how much the team missed the Englishman’s presence on the pitch.
Agreed keita doesn’t work for me in this midfield

Not at all. Not enough drive in the team. Fabinho the only one putting it about. Getting bullied

Without Hendo and Milner we lack leadership in the midfield.

What do we think?
It’s good to see these Liverpool fans recognising the significance of the absent Henderson, who is valued at £31.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), and the crucial role he has to play in Klopp’s team. The hope for Klopp and the rest of the Liverpool fans would be to see Henderson return to full fitness as soon as possible.
