Liverpool fans have been jumping for joy on Twitter over the latest comments made by RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Werner to Sky Sports in Germany.
The 23-year-old claimed that Jurgen Klopp is the “best coach in the world”, before adding that playing for Liverpool would suit his game.

The Leipzig striker has been in hot form for the German side this season. In 33 appearances for the club in all competitions, Werner has scored 27 goals and provided 11 assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that the striker, who is currently valued at £67.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has revealed his admiration for Klopp and his thoughts about playing for the Reds, this has got a lot of Liverpool fans interested on Twitter.

Considering Werner is openly speaking about Klopp and his team and how he would suit playing for them, it’s understandable why these Reds fans think he’ll be making the move from Leipzig to Liverpool in the future.
