Premier League leaders Liverpool are blessed with the type of firepower managers dream of, but it appears their recruitment team are constantly on the lookout for more.
It’s understood that those responsible for identifying transfer targets are admirers of Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-min Son and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford – according to Melissa Reddy of the Independent.

The fans have spoken! The fact that Marcus Rashford plays for Manchester United won’t have helped his case with the Anfield faithful, but it appears Son would be the overwhelming first choice.
Since signing for Spurs back in 2015, the South Korean has scored 80 goals in 218 appearances whilst providing an impressive 45 assists.
Marcus Rashford has been one of the few bright stars in what’s been a largely disappointing campaign for Manchester United so far, scoring 14 goals in 22 Premier League appearances. But despite his impressive goal return, his current allegiances seem to make it impossible for the Liverpool fans to get behind the idea of him moving to Anfield someday.
