Leicester City have posted some footage via their Twitter account of Harry Kane’s first goal for the club which was seven years ago today. The England striker spent a brief period on loan in the East Midlands before returning to Tottenham Hotspur where he has played his football ever since.
During his time with the Foxes, Kane made just 15 appearances and scored just two goals. He also spent time out on loan with Leyton Orient, Millwall and Norwich City (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) prior to making his big breakthrough at Spurs.
Did you believe Harry Kane would become the player he is today based on his time at Leicester?
Yes

How have these Leicester City fans responded to the footage?

Don’t think he ever won anything in the game.

Meanwhile, this particular fan was unhappy with the post and even suggested the club delete it.
Delete imo.

What do we think?
Since he returned to North London, Kane has gone on to score an incredible 181 goals in 278 appearances and is now valued at £135m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). We believe that very few could have imagined the 26-year-old would go on to become the player he is today and that is a testament to his rise to footballing stardom over the last few years.
