Was Bernard's goal against Crystal Palace the best goal under Carlo Ancelotti?Yes, it was such a fantastic team moveNo, I think we have scored better than it |
Bernard’s goal against Palace was his third goal for the Toffees in all competitions so far this term, he also has two assists under his belt over the 19 games he has featured in (per Transfermarkt).
Despite having a solid, if uninspiring, 6.73/10 average rating for the season so far (as per WhoScored), fans could not help but gush over the 27-year-old Brazilian.
One fan even suggested that Marcel Brands deserves massive credit for helping the club to acquire the Brazilian.
Bernard just keeps getting better and better. Brands deserves massive credit here, particularly to nip him on a free. Quality player, just needs to add consistency and a better G/A return, which he’s improving on

What do we think?
As many Everton supporters have remarked upon, what a fantastic move it was from the start until Bernard opened the afternoon’s scoring for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
However, should the Brazilian want to improve upon his average rating he will have to start improving on his five goal contributions tally in 19 appearances (per Transfermarkt).
