Supporters of Everton have aired that they want to see the Toffees sign on-loan man Djibril Sidibe on a permanent deal from AS Monaco.
On Monday, the question was posed to supporters over whether they wanted to keep the Frenchman at the club by the Liverpool Echo, with many keen on the idea.
Would you like Everton to sign Djibril Sidibe??https://t.co/nYhLZEKepq

13 million, a complete steal. Really like what he brings to the team, very consistent

I like him on the wing, for 13m he’s a complete steal. Sign him for cover if nothing else. He’s useful in 3 positions

Yes, We need to sign @Everton to sign Sidibe on Permanently, in the summer Transfer Window. But when it comes to the Summer Transfer Window we need to sign Sidibe straight away on Permanently so no offers come in from other leagues & clubs!!!!

Who would you rather was the starting right-back for the Toffees next season?Jonjoe KennyDjibril Sidibe |
Sidibe joined the Merseyside club during the summer on a season-long loan deal from the Ligue 1 outfit, with an option in place to purchase should Everton wish to do activate it (as per BBC).
Since the 27-year-old’s arrival, he has bagged five assists for the Toffees over 21 appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt), which, may have been enough to persuade supporters.

What do we think?
For a full-back, Sidibe’s return of five assists over 21 games is fairly impressive (per Transfermarkt), while his average match rating of 7.08/10 is fairly impressive, too (as per WhoScored).
However, the returning Jonjoe Kenny, who is on loan with Schalke 04 (per Schalke), may rival him for a first-team place should Sidibe stay at Goodison Park beyond the current campaign.
