According to Cardiff City boss Neil Harris, Lee Tomlin could be set to miss up to eight weeks after injuring his knee during training. This means he could miss up to 10 of the Bluebirds’ remaining 13 games during this campaign.
The player has scored seven times and assisted seven goals during his 24 Championship appearances this season.
This makes him the club’s top goalscorer this season, as well as the player with the most assists.
He will certainly be missed heading into the latter stages of the season.
When the player reached out to fans on Twitter to thank them for sending him get-well messages, the supporters expressed how much they would miss him. They can’t wait to see him return to the squad.
Speedy recovery dude ????

Can Cardiff achieve top four without Lee Tomlin?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Luckily for Cardiff City fans, Callum Paterson, Josh Murphy and Danny Ward have all scored six goals so far this season. Meanwhile, Robert Glatzel and Joe Ralls each have five. Although Tomlin is clearly the most potent attacking player in the side, there are goals to be found dispersed across the rest of the squad.
