Aston Villa fans have been slating Kortney Hause on Twitter after the defender’s poor performance at the Vitality Stadium at the weekend.
This comes after Villa fan account @AVFC_Religion shared a post on their Twitter page after Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Eddie Howe’s side which suggested Hause should be “dropped” from the team.
Should Kortney Hause be dropped from the Villa team?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share similar sentiments on Hause.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans criticising Hause:
Hause is a liability.

Agree! I like Hause, but his distribution is shocking and puts us under immense pressure! No one said it was going to be easy and being a Villa fan couldn’t be more true! Gonna go to the wire #AVFC

Hause is the cause of the goals in last 3 games

Easily the worst I’ve seen Hause in a villa shirt today. If Konsa is out injured now it makes letting Chester go without bringing in a replacement look absolutely typically villa.

Kortney Hause was League One today. Mings was poor. Thought Davis & Summata were lively & it was good to have Engels back. Bailed out by West Ham & Watford. Big knock for both of them from being 2 goals up at home. #avfc

Kortney Hause gives me bad anxiety every time he’s on the ball. Composure is awful.

The defender, who is valued at £2.25 million (as per Transfermarkt), made his ninth Premier League appearance for Villa in the defeat to Bournemouth which earned Hause a match rating of 6.2 from WhoScored. After the match, many Villa fans were not shy in making their feelings about the defender’s poor display known.
I’ve seen milk turn quicker than Hause

Hause is a liability has to be dropped

For once, and sadly, I have to agree with you about Hause. He is a liability since we went to a back 3. If you go back over the last 4 games he’s played in, you’d do well to come up with more than 7 or 8 completed passes. Most of his passes seem to go out of play or to opposition

What do we think?
If the Villa fans were just criticising Hause and wanted him to be dropped from the team based off just the Bournemouth game then that would be quite harsh. But it seems that some Villa fans have been feeling the same way about Hause for a while now. In his nine Premier League games, Hause has averaged a total pass success percentage of 72.2%. Whether this is enough for Dean Smith to take Hause out of the team for the future is yet to be seen.
