Aston Villa fans have been gushing on Twitter over recent footage of Brentford winger Said Benrahma.
This comes after Villa fan account @Total_Villa shared a post on their Twitter page that included a GIF of the winger in action for his team pulling off a double nutmeg on the same opposition player in quick succession.
The page then described the action as “pure filth” and that Villa should “throw whatever is necessary” at Benrahma to bring him to the club.
Interestingly, the Villans were linked with a January move for the attacker, but nothing came of it.
Should Villa try and sign Said Benrahma in the summer?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were in awe with what they saw from the Algerian.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans reacting to the post:
Best player in England outside the prem

The 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £7.2 million according to Transfermarkt, was linked with a move to Villa Park during the recent January transfer window. But with no deal being made, Benrahma has continued his season at the Championship side. In 27 appearances in the second tier so far this season, Benrahma has scored eight goals and provided six assists (per Transfermarkt).
Now that this GIF of the winger’s silky skills has emerged, it has caught the attention of several Villa fans.

These replies on Benrahma’s skill show that there are some Villa fans that are still interested in the winger. Whether the club will attempt to sign the Brentford man again in the upcoming summer transfer window is yet to be seen.
