Aston Villa fans have been talking on Twitter about a potential transfer move for Brentford winger Said Benrahma.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page asking their followers if they think the club should make a move for the winger.
The post also included a link to an article from the Birmingham Mail that relayed information originally reported by The Sun that Newcastle United and Leicester City are interested in Benrahma.
Should Villa try and sign Benrahma again this summer?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their opinions on whether or not their club should try and sign Benrahma.

Obviously should’ve got him in January but once we start bringing in more money and we cannot be interrupted by FFP 100% we should go for him or he’ll be snatched up by another club just like Bowen

He’s coming here in the summer

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Villa Park earlier in the season but Dean Smith’s side were denied a January move for the player. Now that news has emerged that two fellow Premier League clubs are interested in securing the winger’s signature this year, this has given Villa fans the opportunity to share their views on the situation.
Why are we even talking about this? Too late.Window has now closed. We have to concentrate on staying in the premiership with the squad we have. These type of players want to be playing in the premiership. Why we taking about it until the end of what is going to be a tough season?

What do we think?
Given that Benrahma, who is valued at £7.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), is currently having a fantastic season for Brentford, scoring eight goals and assisting six in 26 Championship appearances, it’s no wonder a handful of Premier League teams are taking notice of the Algerian. Whether Villa will try their luck in trying to lure Benrahma to Villa Park again is yet to be seen, but his record so far this season has shown that he has what it takes to potentially be a solid performer in the top tier of English football.
