These West Brom fans are wanting to see more of Chris Willock after his impressive display against Reading U23’s.
West Brom took on Reading in the Premier League 2 development league on Monday night, this turned out to be a successful outing for Albion with The Baggies winning 4-2.
The standout performance came from Willock, which included scoring twice and securing the points for the Baggies. This outing didn’t go unnoticed from the Albion fans, with many of these supporters now calling for Willock to be included in the first team.
Here’s what the West Brom fans had to say about Chris Willock after the match:
What a half!
A Rayhaan Tulloch brace and Chris Willock goal put us 3-2 ahead – but Brad House had to make a penalty save to retain our lead, with Willock securing the points late on.#PL2 | #WBA pic.twitter.com/xpGIv62CCp

Should Chris Willock play against Charlton on Saturday?
Yes
No
When Willock signed for West Brom on loan from Benfica, the Baggies stated that there is: “Options for both clubs to review the agreement in January.” This could either be a blessing or a curse as if Benfica feel Willock hasn’t been playing enough football, then they may use one of their “options” against the Baggies.
This is why we should play Willock

Surely Willock should be getting some sort of opportunity in the first team, hard to grasp whether he’d be any good there without having a chance

What Do We Think?
Chris Willock was on the bench against Charlton in the FA Cup on 5th January but failed to be given a chance to prove himself on that occasion. However, in the Championship, the 21-year-old is yet to be given a chance at all this season, failing to even make the bench.
We feel considering Willock, who is valued at £1.35m by TransferMarkt, is currently on loan from a club as big as Benfica, he should at least be given half a chance to try and prove himself in the first team. Even just a couple of minutes off the bench is better than what the 21-year-old is getting now.
