With the January transfer window finally open, clubs are keeping a keen eye on their team’s transfers. And while Sunderland haven’t made any moves at the time of writing, Jack Rodwell’s move to Sheffield United hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans of the Black Cats. The player played for the club until he transferred to Blackburn Rovers on a free deal (transfermarkt.co.uk). Anyone who has watched Sunderland ‘Til I Die will know exactly why Sunderland fans aren’t too keen on the player.
When Sheffield United posted about the player performing well on his debut, Sunderland fans were quick to mock him. They warn Sheffield United fans to be wary of Rodwell’s positive start. They have seen first hand how he can flip his performances from positive to negative in the blink of an eye.

What do we think?
Sunderland fans are still clearly quite bitter about the player’s spell at the club. Hopefully, Sheffield United fans don’t have to go through such as gruelling experience.
