Sheffield Wednesday: Some Owls fans discuss latest ticket update

|

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are lauding the latest ticket update from the club ahead of their FA Cup clash against Queens Park Rangers up next.

The Owls have confirmed that while the club fans were initially allocated 2,663 tickets for the clash at Loftus Road, they have been sold out and they have been handed 300 extra tickets by QPR for the game. The club went onto post the ticket prices for the extra tickets for the cup tie.

Swfc fans: Are you happy with the ticket sales?

We deserve it!

Nope, we're losing anyway!

The club’s social media team posted about it on Twitter and this left many Wednesday fans delighted. They expressed their happiness about it.

Wednesday recently lost their Championship game 5-0 to Blackburn Rovers and have now won only one of their last five games in the league. During that time, they have beaten Leeds United but have lost to Stoke, Cardiff and Hull City too.

Garry Monk’s men managed to beat Graham Potter’s Brighton in the third round of the FA Cup by a 1-0 margin. An Adam Reach goal in the second half proved enough for them to set up a tie against QPR.

The club has already lost to QPR early in the season, as goals from Jordan Hugill proved too much for the Owls in August.

What do we think?

This thing comes at the right time for the club. The 5-0 loss has left many fans unhappy and taking this step makes them a happier bunch.
