What do we think?
Dawson’s celebration will have no doubt put a smile on the faces of most Sheffield Wednesday fans. However, Garry Monk may not have been as impressed when he saw the goalkeepers actions, given that it could have led to an injury.
The Sheffield-born goalkeeper, who is valued at £315k (as per Transfermarkt), has made 13 appearances in the Championship this season and has managed to keep six clean sheets to date. According to WhoScored.com, the Englishman’s average performance rating this season stands at 6.5/10 but with his contract set to expire in June, it remains to be seen whether he will be lining up for the Owl’s beyond this summer.
