Earlier in the month, Jamie Murphy left Rangers on loan in search of first-team football. When a loan to Burton Albion presented itself, the player completed the move.
Since then, Murphy has played in two matches for Burton, the first being a 78-minute appearance against Accrington. The second came against AFC Wimbledon on Monday, when the player bagged himself a goal.
When Burton announced the goal on Twitter, many Rangers fans applauded the player. They think Murphy, who is valued at £900k (as per Transfermarkt), should still be at their club, playing ahead of Sheyi Ojo and Brandon Barker. They admit that, before he was injured, he was a brilliant player.
A fit Jamie Murphy is always a goal threat. I don’t think we could say the same for Barker or Jones. Ojo doesn’t look as if he’s cut out for Scottish football. I’d have kept him out the three but then again who knows what the manager sees in training

Rather see him in the team than ojo or barker

Don’t I know it. Absolute player pre injury.

Is Jamie Murphy Rangers' best right-winger?
Yes
No
Other fans took to Burton’s Twitter page to reassure Murphy’s new fan base that they were getting a great deal. They are happy to stake their reputation on him.
If he keeps fit he will rock that league. Got yurselfs a good player there.

What do we think?
The signing of Murphy could be a huge boost for Burton who are still very much in the race for a promotion spot in the EFL League One. However, Rangers fans may regret that their team let the player go. They are confident that he would be the best right-winger at the club, assuming he came back from loan.
