After a thrilling Old Firm match, Rangers fans will be overjoyed with their current league position. Despite still being two points behind in the league, Rangers have a chance of leapfrogging their rivals into first-place if they win their game in hand (Sky Sports). But, naturally, the Old Firm didn’t go without controversy.
Following the match, one Celtic fan suggested that there was an altercation between Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Christie in the tunnel after the match. This rumour was laughed at by Rangers fans who didn’t believe a word of it. Rangers’ fan account, Four Lads Had a Dream, posted a mock article to troll Celtic fans. The article baited their rivals into thinking the post had proof of Morelos’ wrongdoing. Instead, it just posted photos of their triumphant victory. Rangers fans loved the banter.

Do you believe the rumours about Morelos and Christie in the tunnel?
Yes
No
Other fans backed up how impossible the rumours were. The timeline just doesn’t add up to them.
Morelos already off the pitch due to his red card. Sometimes you’ve got to wonder how they don’t see flaws in their lies

The fact that Christie was subbed on 81 minutes and Alfie sent off in 96 minutes kills this rumour dead, unless Christie hung about the tunnel for 15 minutes waiting for Alfie.
He’d also had to have had a premonition on the red card. pic.twitter.com/A2CnqqSzP0

What do we think?
It is a shame that Rangers’ win will be muddled with rumours. At the end of the day, the supporters will just be thankful to be in the position that they are.
