With the club currently out of town on a business trip to Dubai, many fans have been waiting for the return of Alfredo Morelos. The South American, after their final game prior to the winter break, flew off to Colombia to help with his charity (The Scottish Sun).
Upon Morelos’ arrival in Dubai, many fans were thrilled to see him with a vast number of them sharing how good it was to see him back with the group after witnessing footage from the official Rangers Twitter channel.

This, perhaps, all came after Morelos was controversially sent off in the final minutes of the Old Firm and made a gesture to the Celtic fans, which was interpreted as a ‘throat-slitting’ action (The Scottish Sun). They poked fun at the fact many Celtic fans, such as Chris Sutton, called for Morelos to serve a hefty five-match ban for what Rangers fans claim was just a ‘game over’ gesture (The Times).
What do we think?
At the end of the day, the Rangers fans will just be happy to see Morelos back in a Rangers kit. He will be integral to their second half of the season, should Steven Gerrard continue to push his team’s rivals for the Scottish Premiership.
