Some Celtic fans are making it very clear that they aren’t happy at all with Neil Lennon’s treatment of outcast winger Marian Shved in recent months.
In Neil Lennon’s 4-2-3-1 shape, James Forrest is the club’s first-choice right-winger. Because of that, Shved isn’t getting game time at all.
Celtic fans: Has Shved been badly treated?
He deserves it
Lennon needs to play him
And some Hoops fans feel that Lennon is to be blamed for poor treatment of the Ukrainian star.
Lennon has always been guilty of alienating players, especially ones he didn’t sign or who don’t fit his criteria, the pressure on him must be immense,so he will never drop his key players to give these guys game time,I’d be givin Shved,Griffiths and Bayo at least half and hour

Remember what rodgers said he didn’t want him.

Is he being held back? Lenny sees something in Morgan, the fans don’t see.

He was the player I was most looking forward to seeing play hopefully he can get involved at some point

Loan him to Kilmarnock for the rest of the season. They can work their magic on him like they did with Ajer and he’ll get acclimatised to the Scottish game

Shved joined Celtic from the Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv in January 2019, when he became the club’s first-ever Ukrainian player in history. But he didn’t make a single first-team appearance for them in the second half of the season, despite impressing for his club back home.
For Lviv last season, Shved was a regular starter as a striker, even though he is a right-winger originally. He played 26 times in all competitions for the club, scoring 15 times and racking up four assists on the way too.
Throughout his time at Lviv, Shved made a total of 55 appearances for their first-team. He racked up a total of 23 goals and seven assists. But this season, he has made only two appearances for the Hoops first-team, while scoring one goal. That goal came in the club’s UEFA Champions League qualifying game against Kalju.
What do we think?
It remains to be seen if something is going wrong behind the scenes. But the transition from playing in Ukraine to playing in Scotland could take time. And at 22, Shved can still be patient. Celtic can loan him out to another Scottish club to help his development and see how he does there. It would allow them to assess his situation better.
