Some Celtic fans have reacted to a scout report about the Parkhead-linked midfielder Ismaila Soro and they sound impressed by what they are hearing about him.
The midfielder plays for Israeli club Bnei Yehuda and has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic this month. Yehuda manager Elisha Levy has already revealed that the player is close to a move to Parkhead this month, having confirmed that the deal has been agreed in principle.
Celtic fans: Do you want Soro at Parkhead?
He'll be a fantastic signing
No, not better than Broony
A Celtic fan with a Twitter handle called Allanedg posted a scout report about the midfielder. Many Hoops fans read it and are excited about the potential new signing.

Looks fantastic, mate. Just the kind of player we need. I think the fact he’s only 21 could tie in perfectly with giving Broony a wee rest too and then potential filling his boots when the time comes.

Sounds decent but I would like him to be a good few inches taller.

I was impressed with his passing, especially his ability to see a forward pass

Lenny apparently hinted playing 2 up top, which involves a midfield change. Ergo both Brown and Soro could play, especially if it’s a 3-5-2

So far this season, the Hoops have played regularly in a 4-2-3-1 shape. Scott Brown and Callum McGregor have been operating regularly in the double pivot. McGregor has made 36 appearances in all competitions, while Brown too has made 36 appearances for the club.
As for Soro, he has been a regular in midfield for Yehuda in the Israeli League. He has made 23 appearances in all competitions for the club but is yet to score or assist even once. He has predominantly played in defensive midfield.
Last season saw him being a regular in that part of the pitch for his club. He made 35 appearances in all competitions, racking up a couple of assists for the side.
What do we think?
Playing regularly for anyone at the age of 21 isn’t a small task. Celtic have had some success with signing players in Israeli football, having roped in Nir Bitton some years ago, whilst Hatem Abd Elhamed also came to Parkhead this past summer. He will add immense depth to the midfield, allowing McGregor and Brown to get some rest.
