Shortly after Birmingham City failed to beat Coventry in the FA Cup Fourth Round, the club posted a few photos of the Chinese New Year festival in Birmingham. Members of the club were present at the event, including Bernard Sun. The Chinese midfielder joined the club right before the transfer window shut in September and has only registered 25 minutes of game time since his arrival.
Fans expressed their frustration on behalf of the player. They think it must be extremely frustrating to be so far away from home while being given limited opportunities to prove himself.
Never to be seen again?

Bernard Suns 1st appearance in numbers
28/29 completed passes (1 got away)
2 assists (holding the bowl out for the kids to get their sweets)
Promising signs from the lad— Dewfvader28 (@dewfvader28) January 26, 2020
Feel for the bloke. Miles away from home, no chance of first team football and is wheeled out on a wet Sunday afternoon.

Wished he’d start posing on a football pitch with Ramos

Do you think Sun deserves more of a chance to play?
Yes
No
Others are cynical of their club, suggesting that he was only brought in to pose in front of a camera during events such as this. Surely this isn’t the case, however, it is clear they are frustrated at his lack of game time.
So this is why we signed him

Only reason we signed him weren’t it?

Ah so that’s why we signed him…

What do we think?
With the midfielder being just 20 years of age, there is still plenty of time for him to shine in a Birmingham City top. His chances may not be coming right now, but he will hopefully be given more of a chance later down the line.
