Raul Jimenez’s goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers versus Liverpool has been nominated for the January goal of the month award. The Mexican forward levelled the score for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side with his headed effort but unfortunately for them, Roberto Firmino scored a late-winner ensuring the Red’s left Molineux with all three points.
In light of the news Jimenez’s goal was in the running these fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

What do we think?
As mentioned in the replies it was a goal engineered by Raul Jimenez and finished by the 28-year-old. The former Benfica striker has now scored 11 goals in 24 Premier League games this season.
Whether or not the goal accumulates enough votes to win the award remains to be seen but one thing is for sure, it’s a goal that will live long in the memories of the Wolves faithful for years to come.
The West-Midlands club travel to Old Trafford this weekend to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United as they look to leapfrog them in the table.
