The medical team under Nuno have worked miracles to keep our small squad fit. Phil deserves a huge amount of credit! I’m sure he will be missed but his legacy is in the team he has left behind. Thank you and all the best Phil!

Yes, very sad he’s leaving us, a great servant to the club. Phil was also one of the first people whose contract I renewed (and upped his wages) on Football Manager!

What do we think?
Having a medical team which works efficiently and effectively is vitally important to any side’s successes as injuries are unavoidable across the entirety of a season.
As reported by the Express and Star, the former head of medical left for America with the club’s best wishes and their thanks for all of his years of service (per Express and Star).
