Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have reacted to a tweet from Tim Spiers that has stated that there is ‘interest in Ryan Bennett’.
On Wednesday night, the Athletic reporter confirmed that there was interest in the English defender but there had been no ‘concrete offers’ and it was unlikely he’d be allowed to leave (per Tim Spiers), which had some fans worried.
A number of clubs have shown an interest in Ryan Bennett but no concrete offers yet and I'm told it's unlikely he'd be allowed to leave if one was made. One to keep an eye on during the next 48 hours though.

He’s been great for us, overall – A free transfer as well.
Would be sorry to see him go.

Fantastic servant. Would be disappointed to see him go. Even called upon as recently as Liverpool away. MOTM in that game for me

Would you mind seeing Ryan Bennett leave Wolves if a suitable offer was made for him?Yes, he's a great backup optionNo, he's not good enough for us |
So far this term, the 29-year-old defender has featured on 19 occasions for Nuno Espirito Santo in all competitions, during which he has scored one goal for the Old Gold (per Transfermarkt).
Despite having a 6.41/10 average rating across those 19 outings (per WhoScored), supporters were keen to see the experienced Englishman stay at Molineux.
Wouldn’t want to lose him with Europa in Feb again

I’d hate to see him go..good solid defender

He does seem amout of favour but we’d be mad to let him go at this point unless replaced. Isn’t his contract up at end of season?

Great defensive back up is Bennett!

What do we think?
Despite one supporter suggesting that Bennett’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, he is, in fact, contracted until the end of next season (per Transfermarkt), so, no worries over him leaving on a free just yet.
However, as many supporters mentioned, while Bennett is not a starter in the club’s strongest lineup, he is a reliable and ever-present backup which is proved by the number of games he has featured in this term.
