Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have reacted following an update from Tim Spiers on Patrick Cutrone’s departure from Molineux.
According to Anton Toloui, a move for the 22-year-old Italian to Fiorentina stalled and he returned to the midlands, which was also shared by Spiers (via Tim Spiers), which had some Wolves fans worried.
Although, Tim Nash has stated that he could still join the Serie A club but they’re currently short of Wolves’ valuation of the Italian attacker.
As per @SkyAnton tweet, been told that Patrick Cutrone is back training at Compton Park.
After being given a couple of days off in Italy, he was given an extra day to see if a move to Fiorentina could be finalised but there's no agreement yet #wwfc

Recruitment this season has been a complete mess. No new top quality additions, slow movement within the windows and on top of that selling players from a paper thin squad, without too much concern.
Real shame considering last seasons recruitment was world class.

I’m worried it’s nothing to do with nuno or the squad but our recruitment in the summer only neto has worked out and its looking like not much is happening now I hope they sort it out or nuno will end up getting fed up he has made it publicly clear he wants additions

Is it best for all parties now if Wolves secure Patrick Cutrone a move away from Molineux?Yes, he's unsettledNo, we need him |
News of a departure arose following limited game time for the former AC Milan man so far this term, with Cutrone having featured in only 860 minutes of action across 24 appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo (per Transfermarkt).
However, with the move for Hwang Hee-chan also stalling (per Tim Nash), some supporters were delighted that the frontman could be set to stay.
Hope he has settled down and decided to stay. His passion for what he does on the pitch is plain to see.
It’s really hard to move to a new country at his age and if he goes I hope we get to see him back in a few years— Michael Chance (@grumpywolf63) January 8, 2020

What do we think?
When a player is supposedly set to be leaving and then set to be staying with their future unknown, it always seems like a bit of a mess.
However, Wolves supporters should look at it like this; if he goes, great, there are more funds for new signings; if he stays, great, Wolves still have the backup striker that they need.
