Supporters of West Ham United have reacted to news that the Hammers have reportedly switched interest from Rasmus Kristensen to Joakim Maehle.
According to the Independent, the Hammers had had an interest in bringing the Danish full-back to the London Stadium, however, according to @ExWHUemployee, ‘the offer has been rejected’, which some fans were not surprised about.
Yes but I believe the offer has been rejected (for now) we are now in for another danish right back Maehle from Genk too. https://t.co/KvHpaGS6Rq

He was shocking for Ajax. Would rather Fredericks play instead of him.

However, the same tweet also stated that while the bid was rejected, the Hammers have now turned their interest to signing Joakim Maehle from KRC Genk (per @ExWHUemployee).
With the 22-year-old Dane having featured in 28 games in all competitions so far this term for his Belgian club, in which he has scored one and assisted four (per Transfermarkt), fans were ecstatic.
