Should West Ham look to shift Jack Wilshere on at the soonest possible opportunity?Yes, he is a waste of wagesNo, good when not injured |
The Hammers acquired the services of the 28-year-old midfielder on a three-year contract in the summer of 2018, switching from London rivals, Arsenal (per BBC).
Since his arrival, the Englishman has featured in just 16 games for West Ham in all competitions, with one goal and one assist to his name (per Transfermarkt), leaving many ready to see him depart.
Just terminate his contract.

What do we think?
It is safe to say, that Wilshere has not only had his time with the Hammers plagued by injury, but also his entire career (as per Transfermarkt).
There is only so long a club can persist with paying the wages of a player who does not play and while it is a shame for Wilshere, West Ham should possibly look at shifting the Englishman on.
