Fans of West Ham United were left delighted following a report which suggested that the Hammers are looking to ship out Carlos Sanchez.

According to Football Insider, the London club is looking to offload the Colombian midfielder if there is a suitor during this transfer window (via West Ham News), which had many fans delighted.

Is Carlos Sanchez the worst player to feature for West Ham in recent memory?

Yes, he is absolutely woeful

According to the report, while David Moyes is keen for Sanchez to depart, he will only leave if another midfielder is brought in before the end of January and then for a desired £1-million fee.

The 33-year-old has featured in 338 minutes of action for the Hammers so far this term across nine outings in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt) and what fans have seen from the Colombian has left many keen for his departure.

What do we think?

With a value of £1.35 million, a contract that is set to expire at the end of the season (as per Transfermarkt) and an average rating for the season of 6.14/10 (as per WhoScored), it seems unlikely that any side would stump up £1 million for Sanchez.

In the season and a half that the Colombian has been with the Hammers, he has made 17 appearances in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt) and it is absolutely clear that fans have seen enough over that period.
