The bloke was woeful at Villa during his ‘peak’ years as a footballer, what exactly did our manager and owners think they were getting when signing him his 30s?

Useless wet blanket !!!! Worst ever player to wear the shirt and that’s saying something in my 40 years watching West Ham

Should of gone 12 months ago , was totally obvious he was useless from the off , how on earth we signed him in the first place just goes to show how totally out of there depth the decision makers are at our club

Is Carlos Sanchez the worst player to feature for West Ham in recent memory?Yes, he is absolutely woefulNo, we've had some worse |
According to the report, while David Moyes is keen for Sanchez to depart, he will only leave if another midfielder is brought in before the end of January and then for a desired £1-million fee.
The 33-year-old has featured in 338 minutes of action for the Hammers so far this term across nine outings in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt) and what fans have seen from the Colombian has left many keen for his departure.
With the news that West Ham are prepared to sell Carlos Sanchez this transfer window – not sure what the view of the club is but the majority of the club’s fan base would be amazed to see any other club in world football actually pay money for such a poor, substandard footballer.

How he ever made it into the premier league still amazes me. (& amuses me ?)

If we can’t sell him just rip up his contract and take the financial hit. The guy is beyond terrible.

After Saturday’s performance I will personally pick him up and take him to anywhere he wants to go ?

What do we think?
With a value of £1.35 million, a contract that is set to expire at the end of the season (as per Transfermarkt) and an average rating for the season of 6.14/10 (as per WhoScored), it seems unlikely that any side would stump up £1 million for Sanchez.
In the season and a half that the Colombian has been with the Hammers, he has made 17 appearances in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt) and it is absolutely clear that fans have seen enough over that period.
