Spurs fans were delighted to hear that Jack Roles has extended his loan with Cambridge United until the end of the season.
It was announced by the club on Tuesday that the 20-year-old will spend the rest of the season with the League Two side after spending the first half of the season with Colin Calderwood’s side. The Cypriot midfielder has impressed so far for the midtable side; with five goals in 19 appearances from midfield.
Roles is a product of the youth academy at Spurs and has been prolific for both the u’18 and u’23 sides, but is yet to make a senior appearance for the North London side. Roles’ loan extension will no doubt come as a boost for Cambridge, as they look to push for a playoff spot in the fourth division.

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted that Roles has extended his stay with Cambridge and will be hoping to see him continue his development with the League Two side.
What do we think?
Roles will hopefully come back from his spell in League Two a much more experienced player, but you imagine that he will require another loan spell at a higher level to truly determine whether he is good enough to play for Jose Mourinho’s Spurs side.
