These Tottenham Hotspur fans rave over Davinson Sanchez after his performance against Liverpool.
Sanchez managed to achieve a WhoScored rating of 6.8/10 against Liverpool, despite Tottenham losing 1-0 on Saturday evening. The Colombian also managed to maintain an amazing pass success rate of 92%, which further backs up his solid performance in the Spurs defence against the Merseyside club.
Here’s what the Tottenham fans had to say about Sanchez’s performance on Twitter:
Don’t mean to jinx it but Sanchez should start every game. Miles better then anyone else we’ve got at the back.

Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga control how the rest of our season goes. Both gonna be monsters at the back and will sort out our defensive problems.

Tanganga and sanchez are the best CBs at the club

Tanganga & Sanchez were exceptional today, Eriksen should never play for the club ever again. Awful just awful. Like playing with 10 men. Felt we deserved something out of that #THFC

Is Davinson Sanchez the best centre-back at Spurs?
Yes!
Nope!
So far this season, Sanchez has played 17 matches in the Premier League, with the Colombian averaging a WhoScored rating of 6.68/10 in the league.
It’s no surprise these fans are raving over Sanchez, with the centre-back having 3% of the total possession in the Liverpool match, showing the Spurs players trust Sanchez on the ball.
Was expecting a hammering, wasn’t pretty but when he took off the deadwood of Rose and Eriksen we looked a lot better. They can not start a game again for this club. Great debut from Tanganga and Sanchez was immense #COYS #THFC

Don’t let this game fully indicate your opinion on Tanganga but this is a very exciting day. A partnership of Tanganga and Sanchez could be something to get used to and their pace and strength is absolutely is frightening. He deserves this after being patient for so long ?

Sanchez has his fair share of critics. But I think he’s going to be a top top centre half. #THFC

What Do We Think?
Despite losing 1-0 against Liverpool, Sanchez clearly had a solid performance in the Tottenham defence, mainly with his pass accuracy of 92% which is crazy for a centre-back. We believe based off of this performance, Sanchez should always be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
