So far this season, Firmino has played 21 Premier League matches for Liverpool, scoring seven goals and also managing to get himself four assists.
With Firmino getting a WhoScored rating of 7.9/10 against Spurs, which is even higher than his 7.32/10 average in the league, it’s no surprise these Reds fans were raving over the Brazilian.

Is Roberto Firmino the best striker in the Premier League?
Yes
No
What Do We Think?
Firmino has had a decent season so far, but with just seven goals in 21 Premier League matches, maybe this is an area of the Brazilian’s game he can work on improving. However, Firmino was brilliant against Tottenham and we feel his 7.9/10 Whoscored rating is fully justified.
It is no real surprise that a number of fans were left gushing over the South American’s first touch as it appeared to be a brilliant piece of skill that allowed him to have the space and time to be able to power a strike past Paulo Gazzaniga and help his side to all three points.
