Spurs fans were delighted to see Harry Kane back in the gym making progress on the hamstring injury which has kept him out since New Year’s Day.
The England striker injured his hamstring in the 1-0 defeat against Southampton on New Year’s Day, with the club later confirming that he would be out until April with the injury. However, fans are hopeful of an early return after the 26-year-old tweeted a video of himself in the gym on Twitter, with the caption: “Working hard. Making progress.”
The England captain started the season in fine form; averaging an impressive 7.42 rating in all competitions after contributing 17 goals for the North London club in just 25 appearances. Jose Mourinho’s side have struggled without Kane; having scored just twice in the Premier League during January, both of which came in a 2-1 win against Norwich.
Which would you rather happen?
Rush Kane back to fitness
Let him recover in his own time
Reaction from Spurs fans to Kane’s tweet can be seen in the tweets below.
A couple of fans even mentioned that Daniel Levy may be behind the post – suggesting that if Kane is looking like nearing a return then he won’t have to buy a back-up striker.

Embarrassing to post this (or rather told by the club to post this). Conveniently timed just before the window closes.
Basically its there to say “look, we dont need to spend, Harry will be back in no time right as rain”.

Take your time & be back when you’re 100% ready, Harry. You’re heavily missed.

These Spurs fans are clearly split between wanting Kane back as soon as possible and wanting him to take his time with recovery to ensure he comes back fully fit.
What do we think?
Spurs don’t want to rush Kane back to fitness and risk another injury, but with their lack of options up front they may need the England captain back if they are to mount a top-four push.
