Spurs fans were full of praise for Giovani Lo Celso after his excellent display against Norwich City on Wednesday night.
The Argentinian was a threat throughout the game against Daniel Farke’s side and earned an impressive 7.85 rating for his performance. It was the 23-year-old’s third consecutive start under Jose Mourinho and the on-loan Betis man looks to reaping the benefits of regular game-time, as he produced another strong display.
Spurs signed Lo Celso on loan during the summer but he struggled for game time under previous manager Mauricio Pochettino after injuring his hip on international duty earlier in the season. It was unclear whether he would be able to establish himself under Mourinho, but his recent performances, such as the one against Norwich, have suggested that his signing may yet prove to be an excellent one.
Was Lo Celso Spurs' best player against Norwich?YesNo |

This boy is going to be world class. Everything about him is exciting to watch.
Unlike some other “creative” midfielder we have Lo Celso actually delivers set pieces and challenges the opposition.
Has a big future with us #COYS #THFC

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed Lo Celso’s performance, with many hoping that the club can wrap up his permanent signing this month.
What do we think?
Lo Celso, who is valued at £45 million (as per Transfermarkt), produced a very impressive performance against Norwich and if he keeps it up, there’s no reason why Spurs shouldn’t bring him in on a permanent deal this month as their long-term successor to the outgoing Christian Eriksen.
