Spurs fans were delighted to see a video on Twitter showing both Hugo Lloris and Tanguy Ndombele back in training with Jose Mourinho’s squad.
The video, which was originally posted by James Burf, before being reposted by LastWordonSpurs, shows the two Frenchman back in training with the first-team squad. Lloris has been out since October with an elbow injury suffered against Brighton, whilst Ndombele has been missing since coming off against Southampton with a hip injury on New Year’s Day.
Mourinho will no doubt be delighted to have club captain Lloris back in training, although he may struggle to get back into the first-team after Paulo Gazzaniga’s penalty-save and overall strong performance in the draw with Watford at the weekend. Ndombele, meanwhile, still has a lot of work to do on his fitness if he is going to make it as a Spurs player under Mourinho, with the 22-year-old having failed to nail down a starting spot since joining for a club-record fee in the summer.
Which player will provide the biggest boost for Spurs?
Hugo Lloris
Tanguy Ndombele
Reaction from Spurs fans to the video of Ndombele and Lloris returning to training can be seen in the tweets below.

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted to see the French duo back in full training and will be hoping to see them return to first-team action imminently.
What do we think?
Both Lloris and Ndombele returning could prove to be a huge boost for Mourinho in his hopes of finishing in the top-four this season. The North London club have failed to score in three consecutive Premier League games, so Ndombele returning could well provide a much-needed spark in midfield.
