Should Jose Mourinho start Christian Eriksen against Norwich City on Wednesday?Yes, he still offers somethingNo, he's just not good enough |
During this season, the 27-year-old attacking-minded midfielder has featured in 27 games for Spurs, during which he has bagged three goals and three assists (as per Transfermarkt).
With a 6.68/10 average rating for the term so far (as per WhoScored), it was clear that supporters felt that the former Ajax man was performing well under par and were disappointed to hear that he would be involved again.
He’s worse than dier

However, one supporter felt that there was a method behind the madness and all a ploy from Mourinho to help force a move for the Dane during the winter transfer window.
It’s called leverage. Jose has had enough of the games and he’s trying to get Milan to finally end it and just give the 18 million

What do we think?
With Eriksen running down his contract in North London and looking all but set to leave (as per BBC), it is clear that the sooner he is gone, the better for fans.
Without a doubt, it is also best for all parties if that were to happen as soon as possible, as it is a shame to see Eriksen’s talents going to waste and Spurs potentially get nothing for him.
