Yesterday Sheffield United made a massive sign of intent by signing Sander Berge. The club broke their transfer record to bring Berge to the club. The midfielder has been capped at every youth level for his country.
The defensive midfielder is known for his brilliant defensive capabilities and ability to sense danger. His positioning is brilliant as well and has great composure on the ball. On the ball, he has a great passing range and is comfortable beating players on the dribble. When the club announced the news on Twitter, Blades fans couldn’t contain their excitement. They are thrilled to see such a talented player join their team. They are impressed that the club has beat their transfer record twice since being promoted.
It’s impressive enough to spend £22M on a player, more impressive still (as a Blade) that a player commanding a £22M fee is signing a 4+ year contract with my team

Someone pinch me, we have broken our transfer record so many times since being prompted, never thought I’d see 1 £20m player at our club now we have 2!!!! Here’s to more broken records

Do you think Sander Berge will be a good signing for Sheffield United?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Chris Wilder has been a revelation for Sheffield United, managing to compete with England’s top clubs in his first stint in the Premier League. The signing of Berge will only strengthen the manager’s ability to challenge for a spot in England’s top five.
