These Newcastle United fans have reacted to the injuries sustained during the clash against Leicester City on Wednesday.
Steve Bruce was talking to NUFC TV after the match, where the Newcastle manager stated: “I’ve never known anything quite so bizarre as that 15 minutes.”
According to Chronicle Live, the Magpies now have Jetro Willems, Jonjo Shelvey, Javier Manquillo and Fabian Schar all injured. With Newcastle’s official Twitter account relaying Bruce’s words: “Three of them are hamstring injuries, the other [Willems] is a groin.”

Newcastle has now lost four out of their last six matches, hardly the type of form needed to be a competitive side in the Premier League. However, it appears many of the Toon Army aren’t quite buying the injury issues as a valid excuse for some of their recent performances.

What Do We Think?
Something needs to change at Newcastle. After winning four matches out of six between 2nd November to 8th December, the Magpies has now lost four out of their last six. These injuries are hardly what Bruce would have been wanting in a tough time, but somehow the Newcastle manager is going to have to turn this ship around or he might just lose his job, despite having helped guide the side to an impressive time before the festive period struck.
