These Newcastle United fans have been discussing Danny Rose joining the Magpies on loan for the rest of the season.
Danny Rose has stated: “It’s a great honour for me to be here. I’m so grateful that the manager has brought me in and I’m looking to repay him in every way I can as soon as I’m playing.”
Most of the Magpies fans were happy with the latest loan move, however, some did point out the fact Rose had a loan spell with arch-rivals Sunderland back in the 2012/13 season (Transfermarkt).
Here are some of the comments from the Newcastle fans on Twitter:
? "I spoke to the manager last night and he told me there were 50,000 fans here at the weekend against Oxford. You can’t go wrong with that kind of passion and support from the fans, and it’s something I’m looking forward to.”#NUFC

Playing for a rival was always going to mean that some fans weren’t going to be as welcoming as others, but the £18m-rated man will likely look to impress these Magpies fans on matchdays instead of on Twitter.
Welcome Danny!

If you are going to bring in a left back replacement you’re not going to get better than Rose, we’ll done @NUFC #NUFC @PREMIERLEAGUE

Are you happy Danny Rose has joined NUFC?
Yes
No
What Do We Think?
If Rose can put in a few solid performances for the Magpies, we are certain that any Sunderland link will quickly be forgotten about, and these fans will just be enjoying a smart loan signing from Steve Bruce – instead of thinking about him in a rivals shirt.
