A lot of Newcastle United fans were fuming at their 3-0 defeat to Leicester City.
The Toon were comfortably beaten, and it could have been more if it was not for Martin Dubravka.
Is Bruce at fault for these injuries Newcastle are suffering from?
Yes, training methods are obviously not right
No, just bad luck
Newcastle looked tired and gifted Leicester two goals before injuries ripped through the team, and the Magpies ended the game with ten men.
However, even without the injuries, they were dreadful, and many were furious at what they had witnessed.
The injuries will be the post-match talking point but shouldn't detract from how poorly #nufc have played.

This is inexcusable. Poor in every aspect of the club, Bruce out of his depth. Next week is a given loss, Rafa wasn’t perfect but at least knew what he was doing, Bruce is just fumbling around in the dark. So we’re back to this #bruceout #ashleyout *sigh*

Totally agree we were awful first half

That’s Bruce’s excuse ready made for him but we are terrible

That is my worry…injuries gives Bruce the excuse he inevitably looks for when he has gotten it wrong.. we were atrocious before injuries and subs..he risks the wrong players injurie wise and over moddle coddles the bloke who has been effecting our games in carroll

This is beyond dreadful….. we have been built upon a strong defence and it’s unraveling

Other Newcastle supporters do not believe that the injuries were down to bad luck and that the conditioning of the players has to be considered.
These injuries largely stopped under Rafa. No one should be writing them off as bad luck.

Bruce should be questioned on preparation and use of his squad.
All these muscle injuries are avoidable.

What do we think?
Newcastle did not suffer many muscle injuries under Rafael Benitez, and some fans want reporters from the Evening Chronicle to start investigating why Newcastle are suffering so many muscle injuries.
The Toon had a disastrous Christmas as they lost all three games and now head to Rochdale for a tricky FA Cup tie.
Bruce spoke of wanting a cup run, but due to the injuries suffered, he might just have to patch a team together from what he has left.
