A lot of Newcastle United fans adore a video released by their club, showing Miguel Almiron chasing back to execute a perfect tackle on Adama Traore just as he was about to start a dangerous attack for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sean Longstaff took a loose touch and lost the ball high up the field – the ball was played to Ruben Neves, who found Traore in the centre circle.
However, just as he broke over the halfway line, Almiron came flying back at him and won the ball off the 23-year-old.
This footage has gone down brilliantly with many Newcastle fans who love Almiron’s work rate and desire.

That is why the fans love him and stuck with him even when the goals were not going in.

Delighted that he’s starting to get goals. He puts in an absolute shift every game. Rapid.

What do we think?
This was the complete performance from Almiron on Saturday as he scored a wonderful goal with his weak foot (0:14) and covered every blade of grass for his team and received a 8.57 rating from WhoScored.
Since the 25-year-old, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, scored his first goal for the Toon in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, he has transformed as a player and has subsequently scored three goals since.
However, what Almiron has always done is graft for the team even when he was struggling in front of goal – that is why so many Toon fans are happy for the Paraguayan international.
