Liverpool fans have been calling on Twitter for Marko Grujic to be given a chance to play for the club next season.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page relaying quotes the made midfielder on his future at the club to Goal.
This post then gathered a handful of replies from Liverpool fans who were impressed by what they read from the on-loan man.
Should Marko Grujic be in the Liverpool squad next season?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans wanting Grujic to play for the club next year:
Grujic is good enough to be part of this LFC squad !!

Develop further in Berlin and come back and have a proper go at the club then we will all see if you have a future or not! Definetely believe Marco has the ability to play for LFC!

Grujic should replace Lallana in the Liverpool squad next year. Also gives him a chance to learn alot from Milner, who will be in his last season.

The 23-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at Bundesliga side Hertha BSC. In 17 appearances for the club so far this season, the midfielder has managed to score three goals and pick up two assists along the way (per TransferMarkt).
However, he’s a forgotten man at Anfield as he hasn’t featured for the Reds since 2017.
Now that quotes have emerged of Grujic speaking on his future at Anfield, some Liverpool fans have been hoping to see him stay as a Liverpool player next season.
I saw one game Hertha played, forgot the other team. But he was brilliant with and without the ball, he even got an assist. Hopefully he will replace milli in the future

Has always impressed me in pre seasons and surprised he hasn’t been given more of what chance already

I’m absolutely keeping my fingers crossed this guy makes it for us, there are so few midfielders with his skillset and his size combined. Milinkovic-Savic the only one I can really think of. Priceless if he’s a success.

What do we think?
It’s great to see so many Liverpool fans getting behind and praising Grujic by hoping to see him stay at Liverpool when his current loan deal expires. With the likes of James Milner and Adam Lallana entering their thirties now, Grujic would be the obvious choice to replace one of them should they leave the club at the end of the season.
