These Liverpool fans slated Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after a poor performance against Wolves on Thursday night.
Liverpool managed to beat Wolves thanks to Roberto Firmino’s goal making it 2-1 in the 84th minute. However, these fans were still fuming with Oxlade-Chamberlain’s performance, with many of them feeling he had a poor outing (WhoScored).
Oxlade-Chamberlain finished the match with a WhoScored rating of 6.5/10, which isn’t terrible but can definitely be much better, especially when Jordan Henderson is finishing the same match with an 8.2/10 rating (WhoScored).
Here are some of the comments from the Liverpool fans on Twitter:
That’s the most obvious substitution I’ve ever seen, oxlade chamberlain has been absolutely atrocious tonight, his days as a starter in this team will be coming to a quick end, shots for 3 games running

Was Oxlade Chamberlain the worst player for Liverpool?
Yes
No
These fans clearly weren’t happy with the 26-year-old’s performance, who is currently averaging a Premier League WhoScored rating of 6.63/10, which perhaps backs up the idea of one fan suggesting that he has been poor in some of his other displays for the Anfield outfit.
Oxlade-chamberlain has been awful in last three of games…. #WOLLIV

What Do We Think?
This wasn’t an absolutely terrible performance from Oxlade-Chamberlain, but the 26-year-old definitely didn’t have a great game against Wolves, which his post-match WhoScored rating appears to back it up completely. Now, it seems the former England international midfielder may have to try and convince the Anfield faithful that he is still up to scratch.
