These Liverpool fans rave over former defender Daniel Agger after the 35-year-old posted a throwback tweet on Twitter.
Daniel Agger joined Liverpool from Brondby back in 2006 for just £7.88m, however, in August 2014 the Danish defender returned to Brondby for £3.60m, which is the club the 35-year-old later retired at.
The former Liverpool defender posted a series of images on Twitter, with the quote: “14 years ago today. It’s been a journey of dreams.”
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Agger after reading his tweet:

Would you sign Daniel Agger at Liverpool now?
Yes
No
Agger played 232 times for Liverpool and once for the Liverpool U23s. Despite being a defender, the 35-year-old managed to score 14 goals and record nine assists during these outings.
These Merseyside fans clearly still love Agger very much, with one fan going as far as to say: “You should be our club ambassador.”

What Do We Think?
It is safe to say Agger is still well-loved at Anfield with the Liverpool faithful and one such individual some consider to be a ‘legend’.
We think it’s great to see so much support for a player who is now retired, it must make Agger feel very proud of his time playing as a professional footballer.
