These Liverpool fans have been raving over Jordan Henderson, as they reflect on his time at Anfield.
Jordan Henderson has played 18 matches for Liverpool this season, scoring once and assisting twice. However, these fans have been raving over his entire career at the club, since joining from Sunderland for £16.2m in 2011.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Jordan Henderson’s time at Anfield:
What about Jordan Henderson? Once linked with a move to Fulham as part of a deal for Dempsey plus money from Liverpool. Refused to go. Captains Liverpool to Champions League, etc. Now finishes the decade with more Premier League apps than any other Liverpool player – 308 @OptaJoe

And a player, always noticeable when he’s absent, never really understood the apathy shown toward him, warrior…!!!

He’s like Gini most fans don’t realise the work rate they do. Ok there not dribbling past 3/4 players. They breaking up attacks from the other teams, starting moves off, doing the unnoticed dirty work, which makes them undroppable .

Is Jordan Henderson the greatest leader at Liverpool?
Yes
No
The four UEFA Champions League outings that Henderson has made this season have been lacking goal contributions, with the 29-year-old failing to score or assist in all of the fixtures. Although, he has the 11th highest rating per game in the Premier League this season, as well as being second for tackles per game.
He’s already bagged himself a medal from winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, with a Premier League one possibly following this season.
To think how irritate I was when he refused to leave. But now, I am ever so grateful for him staying!! Dankie Hendo!!!

What Do We Think?
When you think about current Liverpool players, one of the first names you’ll think of is Jordan Henderson. Maybe not the best player technically, but he is probably the biggest leader on the pitch.
It would seem very likely that Henderson will retire with Liverpool, as the possible fan outrage if the board was to sell him wouldn’t be worth any large amount of money.
