These Liverpool fans mock Carlo Ancelotti’s post-match comments after Everton dropped points against Newcastle United.
Adam Jones relayed Carlo Ancelotti’s comments on Twitter, with the Everton manager stating that despite dropping a 2-0 lead against Newcastle he knew how they felt, going on to give the example of losing after being 3-0 up against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Final.
This is what the Reds fans enjoyed so much about the comments, probably one of the worst examples Ancelotti could have given to the Everton players.
Here are some of the comments from the Liverpool fans on Twitter:

Players are sad.
Ancelotti : Don’t worry, such things happen. I lost the Champions League after being up 3-0.
Players : Oh wow. Who did you lose to? _
Ancelotti : Liverpool.
Players : Oh man this is the worst day of our lives.— Main Bhi Escobar | ?????? (@ra62156) January 21, 2020
Did Carlo Ancelotti forget who was in the final with him?
Yes
No
These Liverpool fans clearly enjoyed the comments, probably more than the Everton dressing room did. However, maybe Carlo Ancelotti did this on purpose to inspire the Toffees to achieve the same, or he just forgot who he lost that final against.
Hahaha we are everywhere. #LFC

What Do We Think?
This was probably just an inspirational chat that’s now backfired, but in reality, it’s not that big of a deal and at least someone at Everton has been to a Champions League Final. It’ll be interesting to see if any of the Everton players comment on this, our guess would be no.
