These Liverpool fans discuss Jose Mourinho’s post-match comments after he was beaten by Jurgen Klopp’s side 1-0.
After the defeat, Mourinho spoke to Sky Sports and was clearly unhappy with one particular decision from the referee and his assistants back at Stockley Park: “They were lucky. They could perfectly finish the game with ten, because the VAR at that time, they were having a tea and they didn’t watch Robertson for a red card.” These comments were later relayed to these Liverpool fans via Empire of the Kop on Twitter.
Klopp’s side had 66.8% possession and 13 shots, however, that is one less shot than Spurs, which is very surprising given the possession stats.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Mourinho’s comments:
As graceful as ever in defeat ? #LFC https://t.co/l8agHKUbJr

Wheat a ridiculous statement, I hope he apologises when he sees the replay! His player should’ve got a yellow for the follow through when the ball had gone (from Robertson’s foot)

Can’t blame the poor fella, new bounce has gone and he’s staring into mid table obscurity

Is Jose Mourinho a better manager than Jurgen Klopp?
Yes, he's amazing!
No, he's overrated!
Tottenham are currently eighth in the Premier League on 30 points, whereas Liverpool have more than double that on 61 points and currently lead the way.
These Reds fans don’t seem to be too bothered with what Mourinho had to say and quite frankly, why should they, with many of them appearing to mock the Portuguese manager.
Counter attack tactic for 80 mins at home ??

VAR shouldve given Mourinho a yellow of the touchline dive after Celso’s ridiculous miss

What Do We Think?
With Tottenham winning just two of their last six Premier League games, it’s clear to see that the two sides are at a very different level right now. That’s why we feel the Liverpool fans shouldn’t even entertain these comments, as it has no impact on anything at all.
