The image shows both players in a training session in preparation for their weekend showdown with Manchester United at Anfield. The last time the two teams met was back in October at Old Trafford. The match ended 1-1 and to this day remains the only time Liverpool have dropped points this season.
This latest post from Wijnaldum gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their appreciation for the Dutch duo.

What do we think?
This post from Wijnaldum proves that training sessions aren’t always serious and focused. It’s great to see that the pair can have fun in their training sessions. It’s also good to see so many Liverpool fans sharing their appreciation for the duo. If Liverpool can take revenge on United this weekend for their draw earlier on in the season, it will place them another step closer to their long-awaited first-ever Premier League trophy. It will also feel good to get one over on their old rivals again as the only team to have taken points off Liverpool this season.
